Since our partnership began, we’ve worked alongside Contec to develop its brand and content strategy from inception to documentation and execution.

The beginning: setting goals
When we began working with Contec in 2021, their team’s main objective was to increase brand visibility. Although it had been an established brand for many years, Contec was just starting to focus on marketing and increasing its brand presence in the industry.
It was our main objective to
- Established Contec’s brand strategy,
- Built external marketing channels,
- Positioned Contec as a thought leader, and
- Increased organic traffic to Contec’s website.
It starts with strategy.
During the first three months, we developed a BRAND STRATEGY. To that end, we spent several hours collaborating with internal stakeholders to define the purpose, mission, and unique value points of the brand.
As a result of these discussions, we created the Brand Documentation that would eventually play a major part in Contec’s website copywriting. (You can review our work on their website.) As a thought-leadership content agency, our expertise was used in conducting the workshops with stakeholders, documenting the brand strategy, and writing the copy. Contec partnered with a website developer to create the brand’s graphical elements.
SEO and content strategy was the last piece of the strategy puzzle. In addition to the interviews, we looked for inspiration from other sustainable brands and analysed the SEO opportunity for specific keyword clusters.
We then created a content calendar for Social Media (LinkedIn), PR (earned media), and SEO (blog content) channels, with the specific intention of increasing brand visibility and website traffic.
Once all the pieces of the strategy puzzle were complete, we moved to implementation.

Our organic marketing approach developed for our sustainability clients focuses on long-term, sustainable growth. This is reflected in the channels that we choose to work with.
But it’s the consistent publishing, hard work, and dedication of the Contec team — and their outstanding authoritative content — that continues to show results even today.
The following metrics reflect growth over four months.
LinkedIn Page: Company brand
Manufacturing companies, like companies in other industries, are on LinkedIn and have their own stories to tell. By sharing educational, institutional, and personal posts, together with Contec’s team we mutually grew LinkedIn Page followers.
This was all organic growth with no paid marketing.
Overall, LinkedIn Page growth:
- 101% growth in Content impressions*
- 35% growth in Page views
- 35% growth in Unique visitors
*Growth compared over 10 months.
SEO content strategy: SERP visibility
Our SEO content strategy’s main objective was to build thought-leadership authority and visibility through search.
Overall, organic website growth:
- 800% increase in Website Views
- 3,500% increase in SERP visibility (impressions)
Contec has ranked several articles in the top 10 Google search results and the educational articles have also been featured in Google’s Q&A box. It was a main objective in 2023 to include more articles in People Also Ask (PAA), the Google SERP feature.
Earned media: thought leadership, guest articles, and podcast placements

During the first year, we placed the Contec CEO in several publications including Tyre & Rubber Recycling, Machine Insider, Engineer Live, Automotive World, and Impact Zero. These media outlets focus on the automotive and tire industries and the circular economy.
