Here’s the scoop on 2025 💙

This content was originally published on LinkedIn.

Wow, 1,743 of you.

Thank you for following my LinkedIn Newsletter! If you’re new here or have followed from the beginning, the newsletter has always been a place for me to write to you from the heart.

It’s changed a lot over the years.

I used to write about LinkedIn strategy. Then, I wrote about my journey in sustainability. By the end of 2024, it was dedicated to elevating the sustainable marketing community.

The year 2025 will be dedicated to using this newsletter to nurture my communitysharing great community content about conscious and sustainable marketing while curating an experience of resources people can share and benefit from.

As it’s the first work week of 2025, I wanted to pause and share how I plan to support you in becoming a sustainable marketer “ecomarketer” through weekly content and monthly meet-ups and events.

Why so much focus on impact? ✊

I believe companies exist not only to grow profit but also to contribute to a larger purpose that serves people and the planet.

As I’ve grown my business, I’ve connected with my purpose on a deeper level, going through a transformation.

I continue to write great content and create performing marketing strategies (greenwash-free), designed to be low-carbon and low-impact, for B-Corps and sustainable companies.

But this is only half of what my business brings to the world.

I want to create an impact, and like many, the last three years have been an internal journey to understanding how and where I can make the most change.

Therefore, you will see a much stronger commitment to SDG 12 “Responsible Consumption & production” in 2025, serving this topic by advocating for the ‘marketing as a force for good’ movement through awareness and activation.

What does this mean for you? 🥾

If you’re interested in this topic, let’s stay in touch.

Whether you’re just starting to understand sustainable marketing or want to start using these principles in your work, I plan to create content that supports you on the path.

  1. Deep-dives:

Do you want to go deeper into this topic? From analyzing greenwashing campaigns to constructing sustainable communication, let’s get into the grit of it all.

  • On my YouTube channel, subscribe to deep dives into campaigns and highlights from sustainable marketing research.
  • On my Substack, gain resources and context around the ‘marketing as a force for good’ movement and what it means for you as the ecomarketer.
  • On LinkedIn, be inspired and motivated to join the movement and pick up learnings along the way.
  1. Community connection:

Do movements grow from community connection? I say, yes. The power of the people coming together will initiate lasting and transformative change. Join me at one of these upcoming events (and stay tuned for many more):

  1. People Planet Pint Meet-up Event (23 January).
  2. People Planet Pint Meet-up Event (27 February).
  3. Marketing For Good Community Meet-up (TBD March).
  4. B2B marketing meet-up in Berlin.
  5. Digital Dialogue panelist.

I’m also planning some amazing collaboration content with the Conscious Marketing Movement.

If you’re looking for a podcast guest, speaker at an event, panelist, or co-event organizer—please reach out to me by email.

I’ve set the goal for myself to lead the marketing as a force for good narrative – with the vision to activate 100,000 marketers into the ecomarketer role

I hope you will join me on that journey by following along, subscribing, and contributing to our growing community.

With heart and gratitude, Megan 💙
